The Cartoon Rebellion Prologue

One day, on a tour of the history of animation, three friends:
Kyle, Cally, and Toby. After ignoring the main lecture, the
culture geeks wandered off to an unathorized room. Eager (and
frankly, foolish enough), they enter the mysterious room. The
fog of the chilling room gave scary goosebumps to our geeks.

They eventually find an odd looking machine. Toby touches
the rundown machine. And all of a sudden, Dexter from
Dexter's Laboratory appears from the thing-a-ma-jig! Dexter
has awoken.

"Where am I? Who are you people?" Dexter
waking from his odd sleeping pose.

"We're just regular friends
interested in the study of animation." said Kyle. "I'm Kyle,
that chick is Cally, and that brown-haired guy is Toby."

"I hope Dee Dee doesn't mess with my stuff this time" Said
Dexter while he was getting up. "Anyways, what is this odd
looking machinery?"

"We don't know. We found that thing just now." said Cally.
 "Since you guys seem to be standing
there doing nothing, can you help me figure out what this
machine does?" said Dexter.
"Why not? We minus well find out more about this than going back on that lame tour." said
Kyle.

The gang soon disasemble the machinery and find it connected to an old Zindows (pronounced ZIN Dohs or Z-DOS for short) computer. "Look!" shouted Toby as he pointed at the computer.

"Amazing!" proclaimed Dexter. "It's an old Zindows 98 PC. And it's in working condition."

 "Ooh..." said Toby. "Let's turn it on! I hope theres Zindows Movie Baker (ZMB for short) on there." The group waited 5 minutes until the PC finally booted up.

"I see ZMB" shouted Cally. "Let's open that weird looking file." Dexter soon clicks on, and opens the file.

-June 4, 2000

A video playback began with a strange man on the screen.
"Hello world! My name is Dr. Poofington and I am working on a "soon to be" breakthrough invention. This 'invention" I call is the Materializer! I have "borrowed" several DNA samples from other animation companies. The first test worked, well, somewhat. I materialized a somewhat deformed Ed. It still needs a few improvements."

"Uh-uh! Buttered Toast!" Yelled the weird Ed looking creature.

"There's more!" said Cally. Dexter clicked on the next VLOG.

-June 11, 2000

"A week after bizzare testing and improvements, the McMaterial machine went from no-no to 2.0. I'm giving it that nickname cause I am reallly hungry right now. Anyways, I was able to create a copy of Dexter, Buttercup, and Johnny Bravo. It's a mess in my lab right now. Lots of chaos between the three. Thankfully, I found a way to shred those copies. I had to stop the fighting somehow. Note to self, alter behavioral patterns. Poofington out."

After checking endless amounts of strange blogs for 30 minutes, they soon find juicy information.

"I'm Dr. Poofington and I'm being hunted down. Those so called "Executives" are trying to question me for my machine. My machine has been causing lots of trouble for overproducing toon maniacs. These "maniacs" have been causing mayhem throughout the whole studio. I have no choice but to destroy my machine before it falls into the wrong, non sanitized hands."

November 3, 2000

"Dr. Poofington here and I'm afraid I've been compromised. I'd tried burning, smashing, and wacking my machine, but... (Sounds of studio execs rushing in)
"Hey, what are you doing? Let go of me!" Exclaimed Poofington.
 "It looks like this will be handy in a future date." said a devious person. "I will ruin CN even if it takes seven years!" said Stuart Snyder while taking off his mask."

The group was surprised! Mr. Snyder was planning on ruining CN before he became president of the beloved network?
